Siobhan Solberg

Along with her demanding career as a performer, for the past ten years Siobhan has also taught viola and violin to students of all ages and levels in the Hudson Valley. She is currently an instructor at Dutchess Community College, MISU, and the Suzuki School of Westport as well as her private studio in Kingston, NY.
In private lessons, Siobhan takes her teaching cues from her students, employing both the Suzuki method and traditional teaching methods according each person’s individual needs and learning styles. While her focus is always on bringing her students to excellence Siobhan takes great pride in the accomplishments of her young players in the NYSSMA competitions where her students have consistently scored in the 98th percentile on their solo performances.
